Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsible for driving Operational Excellence within assigned Portfolio Units (PU’s) and Point of Production (PoP) within T-Systems.

Your daily routine:

  1. Define Project charter and work with the sponsor and key stakeholders get the required approvals in place
  2. Review, research & Analyze ambiguous inputs and craft project plans.
  3. Plan the projects end to end and secure resource, budget and timelines commitment prior to project kickoff. Also ensure agreement on project scope, results from key stakeholders
  4. Conduct project Kickoff and review the plan in detail with all stakeholders
  5. Execute Project with accountability and monitor and control risks/deviations
  6. Track deliverables, milestones and results objectively and ensure timely and effective management reporting of Automation KPIs
  7. Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  8. Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  9. Run Projects Governance Meetings
  10. Ensure projects closure & record lessons learnt
  11. Create metric driven, org branding compliant decks for management review
  12. Travel may be needed for leading complex projects
  13. Core Project Management will take 60-70% of your working time
  14. Communication, Presentation and Reporting will take 10-15% of your working time
  15. Conflict resolution, networking, stakeholder management will take 10-15% of your working time

What you need:

  1. Minimum 15 years’ Project Management experience with 5+ years of leading Automation projects or Transformation projects involving automation technologies
  2. PMP / Prince 2 Certified
  3. Experienced in leading LSS (Lean Six Sigma) projects
  4. Experienced in Business Analysis, data analysisto drive
  5. Strong understanding of Automation Tools & Technologies and updated with the latest industry trends
  6. Experience in data mining tools, such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python etc. & Good hands-on scripting and programming skills
  7. Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  8. Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills

  10. Good Negotiation Skills
