We are looking for a Production Manager – with experience in polymer fabrication – to our partner, who plans a huge investment in Hungary to produce parts into lithium-ion batteries.
key responsibilites
Implementation phase:
Participate in the knowledge transfer of production processes, company regulations and on-the job training abroad
Prepare and educate engineers for initial startup of the new plant
Build up the operational organization for the assigned production area
Establish operational processes
Operational phase:
Reach production targets and best efficiency in production
Ensure overall health and safety of the personnel at the workplace aiming for zero accident
Control labor administration in his/her production area
Ensure product quality and quantity by maintaining stable production without any safety and environmental incidents
Coordinate operation/maintenance schedules among the related functions, and give production instructions
Educate subordinates and enhance their performance
Ensure effective communication between the supporting departments
requirements
University degree (BSc or MSc) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
Fluent in English and in Hungarian
More than 5-8 years experience in the polymer fabrication industry
Proven track record of leadership experience in a managerial role in production organization
Knowledge and experience in quality management
Business understanding, knowledge of financial terms and matters
User skills of MS Office
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Good analytical and decision making skills
Eager to learn new technologies
Able to work in multicultural environment
Available for a 3 months training out of Hungary
